Dinky, a wonderful 18-month-old Ragdoll, lived for five years in Dubai with his native English family, until it was time to return to their homeland. At the airport they were of little help, they said they didn't know. Then all that remained was to return to Dubai. Ian and Sue distributed and posted flyers with the cat's photo and special markings.
They also launched desperate appeals on social media. They offered a reward for those who found it, because in their hearts, they knew that sooner or later they would find it.
After two months of agony for the family, and certainly also for the cat, because it will have wandered the streets of Dubai we imagine not with little difficulty, since the cat was used to the life of the house and not to that of a stray. The long-awaited news has finally arrived. Dinky was in Dubai.
The cat was found by a woman about 20 km from the airport. The woman delivered him to the veterinary rescue center, where he was identified thanks to the microchip. A real miracle, to think that the cat has wandered without food or water at very high temperatures for at least four weeks.
Never losing hope is essential, that this family is an example. Dinky eventually reunited with his humans who took him to London. A new life lay ahead for Dinky, certainly full of affection and love.
