Zorro, was a cat stray, eager to be loved so much. But when he was taken to a shelter in Philadelphia, he could barely tolerate being touched. He didn't want to be touched. The staff then found out what worried him and above all what was the cause of his discomfort. Since then the cat loves give Hugs.
Zorro came to the Pennsylvania SPCA to have a chance to have a better life. Until now he had been fed by kindhearted people. But now it was necessary to find him a home and a family who wanted to love him.
They soon noticed that the cat needed immediate medical attention as they had found blood in its urine. The vet team found that she suffered from bladder stones, which explained why the cat refrained from cuddling, due to the discomfort.
Zorro received surgery to remove the stones. As he was healing in the recovery room, the staff immediately noticed something special about him.
Zorro had become a cuddly, dispensing pampering to veterinary technicians and nurses. When they cleaned his cage, he hugged them and sometimes even kissed their faces. He practically showeres everyone he meets with hugs and kisses and doesn't take no for an answer.
It offers hugs and cuddles to all the staff. Everyone fell in love with this affectionate kitty. PSPCA vet Kristen Nau has sometimes found herself working with a feline assistant in her arms.
This cute cat hugs humans like a small child. He remains embraced for a long time, almost as if he is afraid of being abandoned.
When it was time for adoption, the staff attached a note to her cage that said "She loves giving hugs".
Zorro was adopted! The new mom, ever since hearing Zorro's story, knew he would be the right cat for her!
