The Kolo cat gives all hospitalized people, waiting for a visit and all the staff of the emergency department of the Bristol hospital, a caress or simply a look. It makes it so useful to let some time pass happiness and carefree to all the people who suffer.

In Southmead Hospital in Bristol, England, there is a truly unusual figure wandering through the halls of the hospital. He's not a doctor, he's not a cop, he's not a nurse, but, a lovable one tabby cat named Kolo.

Kolo has become an integral part of the staff and manages to doze off in the most disparate places that are the reception counter, inside the document baskets, under the signs indicating that the floor is wet.

He manages to bring out the good mood to all the people who go to the hospital's emergency department every day.

Soon said, in fact the garden of the hospital and that of the owners' house in Kolo (Gillies family) are communicating and, given that Kolo loves to wander, he does not disdain to pay a visit to the hospital.

The owner of Kolo created a Facebook page: " the Adventures of Kolo " where, in addition to publishing the shots of Kolo that are sent to her by the many patients who pass by the hospital every day, she wanted to make people aware that Kolo he is not a stray, but who has a family.

We conclude by saying that some Italian regions allow an animal to enter the hospital, although some precautions must be kept in mind. In fact, pets can have contact with the patient in the common areas of the floor where the person is hospitalized (some areas are totally forbidden), in the external parks of the hospital, in the acceptance areas. The cats will have to stay in the pet carrier and if released, they must be held al leash and a rule that applies to all animals, they must be well brushed and cleaned. Of course these are general lines, each Region has precisely set certain rules.
