Unfortunately, it's not easy for the millions of homeless cats living in American shelters to find families who love them. It gets even more difficult when two cats they have become homeless inseparable. From the start, it seemed that Lily, the Siamese mix, and Rosa, the elegant black kitten, were destined for each other. Christian, the kindhearted volunteer who found and cured the two cats tells their story.

Christian says he found Lily who was very skinny, like a skeleton, on the side of the road in Tampa.

After a few days he received a call if he wanted to care for a very sick kitten who had been in intensive care. A little black kitten she named Rosa.

Christian lovingly looked after the two kittens. While the black kitten recovered quickly, Lily was struggling to make progress, she was also suffering from toxoplasmosis.

It was Kitten Rosa, along with a course in hydrotherapy that helped Lily gain strength and get back on her feet.

When Lily was back in good shape too, they both began to explore their "foster home". The two kittens in the meantime have become inseparable.

When one lies down for a nap, the other does too. When one goes to the bowl to eat, the other follows him. One is the shadow of the other.

The pair of very tender kittens is facing a new tough challenge: finding a home that welcomes them forever where they can continue to be together.

We hope their love for each other will inspire a loving family to adopt them both. Two cats who lived the adventures of Lily and Rosa cannot be divided.
