Many believe that humans adopt cats, but this story tells the opposite. A stray cat adopt his human future. Connor Manning, was disheartened because the affair with his fiancée was over. As is often the case, walking relaxes, so did Manning. That evening he decided to take a nice walk back home.
Suddenly he felt a presence behind him, it was a cat following him step by step. At that point Manning softened crouched down to caress her and she climbed into his arms.
After some pampering, Manning got back on his way. A few blocks ahead, he noticed that the cat was still following him and made it all the way home.
When she reached the door, however, she stopped, did not go inside the house. So Manning put a bowl of water and a comfortable blanket on the porch. He decided to call it Socks.
The boy received a call from a friend, who invited him to go out. With low spirits, Manning decided to accept his friend's invitation. He went out for a few hours.
Upon his return home, he hoped to find the cat again on the porch, but he did not. Socks was gone, Manning was very disappointed, he had spent a few hours with the cat, but he was already fond of her.
After a few hours, the boy was unable to sleep. He heard noises coming from the porch. When he approached the door he found Socks. She was back! The cat had decided that Manning would be her human.
He opened the door and this time he did not hesitate to enter the house. She rolled onto the carpet and Manning started playing with her. It didn't seem real to the kitten that she had a home and someone who loved her.
Socks decided that Manning would be his human. He chose him the moment he decided to follow him, on the very evening when the boy had his morale in pieces. Could it be a coincidence?
Apparently it's true, friends recognize each other in times of need. Manning despite having an allergy to cat hair, he decided to tackle the problem with care but kept the kitten Socks with him.
