Can a cat, accustomed to the comfort of a home and a family, live for four months like a stray?
It would be hard for anyone to believe it, but it happened and now we tell you the story.
The cat in question is called Cindy. She was adopted when she was just two months old by the Brondan family. And she lived with them for twelve years surrounded by the pampering and warmth of her family, never leaving her home. But one day Cindy mysteriously disappeared.
The owners, very worried, because they knew very well that she would not survive a life as a stray, made up of hardships and dangers, began to look for her, but in vain. They carpeted the city with flyers and posted dozens of ads on social media to find it.
Unfortunately no trace of her. It seemed to have vanished into thin air. After four months spent in vain looking for her, the family believed they would never find her again.
But they were wrong. One day they received an unexpected phone call. A man had perhaps found their cat two hundred kilometers away from their home.
Immediately they went to check and discovered that it was really her. Their Cindy. But she wasn't alone. Next to her there was a stray dog. It was he who protected and allowed Cindy to survive.
Local residents explained to the family that they had become inseparable and all along, the dog had been taking care of her. Cindy's owners, understanding the deep emotional bond that tied Cindy to the big dog, decided to adopt him. They called him Angel, precisely because he was for Cindy.
We don't know how it got two hundred kilometers away. But, what we can say is that animals, once again, show us how they know how to be supportive and loving with each other.
