A group of tattooed and robust American musicians have given birth to an organization called Rescue Ink, founded to save suffering and defenseless animals from the harassment of heartless people. They intervene against violent and cruel owners for to save the poor animals.
The organization was founded in 2007 on a non-profit basis. It was founded by a group of New York volunteers and made up of former bodybuilders, powerlifting champions, former military personnel, police investigators, lawyers, etc.
During the years of their activity they have saved thousands and thousands of dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens and fish. Thanks to their intimidating looks, they "convince" the cruel owners to take away the poor abused animals.
Volunteers also make arrangements with animal shelters for rehabilitation. They also find animals victims of violence, other families who can take care of them lovingly.
These volunteers, despite having saved thousands and thousands of animals, do not consider themselves heroes at all.
Indeed they simply say that they are animal lovers and their protectors. People like that are to be praised.
Although apparently they may seem violent to them, they have a very big heart that thinks about those who cannot defend themselves.
In these years of activity they have also had to suffer many obstacles and face direct challenges which have not stopped them.
