James Bowen is a homeless man from London. Meet his feline friend Bob in a basement. James has since decided to take care of Bob. They lived on the money from the offers they managed to put together from guitar performances. They have since become inseparable, as well as being two world-famous British stars today.
James Bowen has had drug addiction problems in the past. His family and friends turned their backs on him and he found himself in the middle of a road.
To survive, he would perform on the London sidewalks with his guitar. One day in a basement, he met an orange stray cat. Sharing his food with him, he decided to call him Bob.
James has been taking care of Bob ever since, spending the money he raised from performances to heal his new friend.
As the days went by, the curious became more and more numerous. People stopped more and more frequently to ask for photos along with the two artists James and Bob.
They had become two stars and they didn't know it. A journalist named Mary, given the popularity of the two artists in the media and on the internet, offered to write a book about James and Bob.
The book "A Street Cat Named Bob" was one of the best-selling books in England for fifty-two consecutive weeks. In addition to being sold in twenty-six countries around the world.
Even in 2016 the director Roger Spottiswoode directed a film inspired by the book, among which the protagonists stands out the cat Bob to interpret himself.
