Andrew Marttila is a I photograph of cats living in the United States. To think that he has always had an allergy for cats and dogs. But only at the age of twenty-two did he decide to overcome his allergy by building immunity through exposure. In fact, he took with him a Bengal cat and two dogs.
He now lives with three cats and a slew of foster kittens. Years ago he started photography as a hobby. He photographed his cat for fun.
Little by little he gained notoriety for his beautiful and particular photos, seen by millions of people.
Initially it was a kind of experimentation. His style incorporates facets of portraiture, anthropomorphization and macro photography. By his own admission, his ability is to capture the unique personality of each animal.
