This is a story that has leopards as its protagonist. Before starting to tell this adventure, let's make a brief introduction.

The leopard, also called Panthera Pardus, is a felid of the panther subspecies. It is mainly widespread in Africa and south-eastern Asia. It is part of the "IUCN Red List", which classifies it as a vulnerable species, due to the loss of its natural habitat and the consequent fragmentation for the globe.

Furthermore, over the years, the leopard is forced to leave its den and move to buffer areas also due to deforestation and poaching.

Now that the key points have been outlined we can start telling our story

In the village of Takali Haji, India, farmers discovered four leopard cubs crying at the sugar cane plantations. Their eyes were barely open and they were huddled almost as if to protect each other.

Shocked and realizing the gravity of the situation, the farmers immediately contacted the Forestry Office and the Wildlife SOS Rescue Team. As soon as help arrived, they realized that the puppies had burns and scars, perhaps due to the fires put in place for deforestation.

After being treated, a plan was devised to be able to reunite the entire family of those little leopards. Then they put these puppies inside a box and brought them back to the sugar cane field.

Here they installed a hidden camera to be able to monitor them and record any approach. After about an hour, a leopard finally emerged from the nearby forest.

He stopped suddenly and realized that his puppies were in the plastic box. She looked at her babies, stroked them and licked them until they fell asleep. Then, using his mouth, carefully, he carried them back into the woods.
