A man found three small kittens in a courtyard, in the middle of the earth and debris. There he immediately took him to an animal shelter, to give him the necessary care. The kittens were in poor condition and only one small black kitten survived. Unfortunately, however, he developed a severe form of ringworm. The shelter provided him with suitable medicines and shampoos, but it kept getting worse. It was therefore included in the list of emergency transfers that required entrustments to expert hands. A volunteer from the animal rescue association Hearts Alice Collage, then took her with her.

The kitten was called Kay. When the volunteer took him home, the staff who had given him the first treatment informed her that he had a very serious ringworm. He was very emaciated, covered with persistent dry dandruff and noticeable alopecia. Extraordinarily she managed to spend her first night at the volunteer's home. But the road to salvation was long and winding. For a long time the volunteer administered subcutaneous drugs to rehydrate her, oral medications and specific shampoos.

Kay was very confused, sad and not easily approached. Unfortunately, in order not to get infected by ringworm, the volunteer had to use gloves to touch her and to hold her next to her she had to wrap her in blankets. Kay also did not eat and was fed with the help of the syringe. Then he recovered. The ringworm was gone. However, he exhibited behavioral and socialization problems. There was fear for a future foster care. However, a family who already owned a cat and a dog took her with them, despite the fact that they were immediately explained to her about the long illness and the behavioral problems she had. The family welcomed her lovingly and without prejudice. Today Kay, she lives happily with her new family and her little brothers.
