Runt is a 14-year-old cat who, after being taken off the street, has found a family to take care of him. He looks after all kittens in distress, collected by its owner, a member of a shelter.
The cat Runt, was found wandering the streets of Tavares, Florida. Here he was then helped by a group of volunteers from "Lake County Animal Shelter", an association which among its objectives is to give a new family to abandoned animals.
He was taken to the facility's clinic and stayed there for a few weeks, as his health was quite serious. In addition to a true 14 years and having IVF, was underweight, suffered from a severe respiratory infection and had several injuries. In short, the clinical picture was not the best, but he got away with it. He was then taken into temporary custody by Emily Blyte, a member of the shelter.
Runt began to get better and better, and he was very happy with his new life. Furthermore, he could relate to the other elderly cats entrusted to the woman. She fell in love with that big cat so much that she finally decided to adopt it forever. And Runt certainly appreciated the gesture!
Emily then noticed with how much passion and love, the cat Runt, takes care of the many adoptive kittens which she brings home to restore them. He said that for example, the last two kittens that needed treatment were Reece and Dolly, the latter found in a truck engine.
Dolly was somewhat shy and hesitant, but, thanks to Runt's help, she became much more open and less suspicious. In short, Runt really works miracles with foster kittens and behaves like a good surrogate father. Emily herself is somewhat appalled, considering that the Runt cat he lived most of his life on the street and it's definitely not an easy life!
Most likely he it is so good to her which gave him the opportunity to live a new existence, which transmits his love and joy to the other kittens.
