A four and a half year old wrote a letter to Santa Claus, in the hope of being able to find his two beloved cats, lost in a fire. After several searches, his wish finally came true.
There is a deep relationship that binds children to theirs cats, an indissoluble bond made up of complicit glances and cuddles. The fear of not being able to feel these certain emotions anymore caused a four and a half year old boy from Paradise, California, to write a letter addressed to Santa Claus, in which he asked for collars and leashes so as not to lose his beloved cats if he ever found them again one day.

You must know in fact that the child, by name Tyson Baker, he had recently lost his cats in the fire who had devastated their home. From the day of the tragedy, of his two beloved cats, he had not heard anything more. Not only the child, but also his parents had never lost hope of finding them safe and sound.

They immediately worked to find them, but unfortunately they seemed disappeared in nothing. They also toured many local shelters, hoping that someone would find them and put them in safe hands.
Finally they contacted the FieldHaven Feline Center, to ask help. The volunteers immediately set to work and on 12 December they found a black cat, which matched the description of Optimus, Tyson's cat.

They contacted the Baker family immediately and Joe, Tyson's father, went to the shelter to make sure it was him. That day, however, he did not take his son with him. He didn't want him to be further disappointed. Luckily the cat was right Optimus and once home, it didn't stop purring and stay in your arms to little Tyson, who was quite incredulous at that unexpected surprise.

Now only the other cat was missing from the appeal, Bumblebee. After several searches, he too was returned to his family. The bitterness for having lost their home and many of their objects, gave way to happiness to be reunited together again.

Tyson had even given away all of his toys to those less fortunate than them. He only cared about the welfare of his best friends: Optimus and Bumblebee.

Now they are all together again and this is the best gift which, according to Tyson, Santa Claus did to him. His letter was received and his wish came true.
