Today we want to tell you the particular story of Koa, a cat which, due to a very rare pathology, is unable to grow.

When he was just two days old, the puppy made his way to the veterinary clinic Newman Vets of Edgewater together with her owner who had understood that there was something strange about her.

Despite having only 48 hours to live, in fact, Koa was really very small compared to her brothers. More small of the palm of a hand.

And not only. The kitten was also hypoglycemic and had constant convulsions that its owner could not stop.

Not even the vets, however, could explain what Koa's problem was. The cat seemed healthy, although with the passage of time it did not grow even a little.

After many tests and checks, finally, the veterinary team has discovered the truth. The Koa cat was affected by a very rare form of dwarfism, despite not having brittle bones.

Of course, a difficult and particular condition which, however, if faced in the right way could give a happy life to the feline.

The veterinary team immediately took Koa's affair to heart. The cat was fed a food plan designed specifically for her and, in a short time, she was able to get better.

Today Koa is a cat like any other. Or rather, he lives thinking he is a cat like everyone else.

In reality it is still very small and, despite being over a year old, its size is similar to that of a feline 3 months.

Despite this though, Koa is happy. He eats, sleeps, runs, plays and messes like any other feline of his age.

Moreover, she has also found a family capable of loving her. Koa was adopted by one of the vets who followed her path of care, Ashley.

A certainly difficult life condition which, however, does not prevent the feline from being happy. A condition very similar to that of Baby Gray, the cat forced to stand up to survive.
