The story of Joshua begins a long time ago in the streets of Venice. The cat is just 9 months old, yet it looks like a feline that has already been through a lot.
They are the volunteers of the OIPA of Venice, the association of blue angels that takes care of safeguarding the well-being of our four-legged friends, to find them in the streets of the city.
At the time of the discovery, Joshua was dying. Right from the start, it is clear that this is not a stray cat. Giosuè is a cat who lived the first years of his life in the comforts of a home and who, out of the blue, found himself in the middle of a road.
He did not run away, since no one has ever claimed him, but abandoned. Thrown into the street by that same family who had decided to take care of it and then, for some reason, decided to get rid of it.
But Joshua is not a stray cat, he is not used to living among the dangers of the road. And so was that life wild it almost gets the better of him, literally reducing him to death.
When the OIPA volunteers find him, Joshua struggles between life and death. He has many fractures scattered throughout his body, of which the most serious in the jaw and jaw. The cat is not even able to eat on its own.
Fortunately, the Blue Angels begin to take care of him. The feline is treated in a veterinary clinic and, in no time, his condition is stable.
Thus begins a very long path of care, between pain and suffering. A path that, however, today has allowed him to rediscover the happiness.
In fact, today Joshua is a cat like all the others. He is well, eats, plays and messes up like all his fellow men. And above all, the feline today has a new one family. A family that loves him and makes him happy, far from the past that caused him so much suffering.
