Today we want to tell you the story of Max, a ga tborn with a serious problem which, despite all expectations, is a happy feline.
Max is a cat who from the very first days of his life had to fight with a really difficult condition: the blindness.
We know how difficult the life of animals that are born with this type of health problem is.
Not so much for their adaptability, since animals are much better at these things than we are.
But rather because it is not easy to find a family who wants to take care of them. Choosing to adopt a cat that cannot see, in fact, is a very courageous choice.
A choice that, of course, not all people feel like making. Partly out of prejudice, partly because, needless to deny it, animals that cannot see need some more attention than others.
Max the cat reached the Saving Grace Rescue when he was a few days old. Abandoned on the street, perhaps because of his condition, he was found by the volunteers of this refuge who decided to give him a chance.
Everyone knew that this tiny kitten had little chance of being happy. And as mentioned, not because of his condition, but because probably no one would ever agree to adopt him.
Fortunately, however (and we never stop remembering it) there are also people with a heart of gold in the world.
Among these there are Janelle and Justin, a couple who, after reading about him, decided to give him a chance.
The two have in fact decided to adopt him, aware that his life would certainly not have been easy.
As they themselves declared, the first days in the new environment were not easy. Max had to adjust to his new home and had to start trusting his new best friends.
With the passage of time, however, the situation has improved. Max began to live like any other feline, almost unaware that he could not see.
Among other things, after a few months, the couple decided to get another cat, Grace, also with vision problems.
Max and Grace they form an extraordinary couple. Both blind are happy cats through and through. They also have an Instagram account followed by over 16,000 followers! A story very similar to that of Simba, the blind kitten who is finally happy today.
