The cat protagonist of today's history is called Pelota and it is a very brave feline.
Because although life has not given him many gifts, Pelota never gave up and today he has finally taken his revenge. He's without a leg but, looking at his happy life, it just doesn't seem like he cares much.
Pelota's known story begins not so long ago. We are a Los Angeles and some volunteers of the Best Friends Animal Society find him practically dying.
As soon as we are born, our four-legged friend is already struggling between life and death. Visibly undernourished and dehydrated, Pelota weighs just a few ounces and her chances of survival are minimal.
According to most people, Pelota is unlikely to survive. But as we often tell you, cats are animals with extraordinary strength of mind, animals from which we should learn that we must never give up.
Because despite so much suffering, Pelota never gave up. He struggled to survive and suffered a lot, but in the end he won.
When i veterinarians they found themselves faced with his case, they had to make a very difficult decision.
Pelota had a very bad infection in one leg, an infection that risked spreading throughout the body, putting his life in serious danger.
The only solution was amputation, even if the vets were unable to ensure that the little four-legged friend would survive the operation.
Yet, against everything and everyone, Pelota did it. Our four-legged friend not only passed the operation but did it brilliantly.
After a few days, in fact, Pelota had already found the strength to live. He resumed eating and also doing some trouble.
His story quickly made its way around the web, so much so that one arrived for him application for adoption much earlier than expected.
Today Pelota is already living with her new family and, even if she is without a paw, she is happier than ever! A story very similar to that of Giselle, the kitten that everyone gave up for dead who is now happy.
