Cheeky is a beautiful 12 year old black and white cat. His known story begins not long ago when a man finds him wandering frightened on Arran Road to Motherwell, In the North Lanarkshire.

The feline is visibly frightened and the man decides to help him, bringing him to the SPCA Scottish. Here the volunteers realize that there is a strange note attached to the collar of our four-legged friend.

A handwritten note from the owners of Cheeky, willing to explain their abandonment.

The note says that the cat is called Cheeky, who will turn 13 next February and that unfortunately his family can no longer take care of him.

At the SPCA they really appreciated the ticket, a symbol of the fact that it was a really forced abandonment.

After all, we know how much life can change from one moment to the next. And so it is that due to economic or health problems, for example, Cheeky's family could no longer take care of him.

Unfortunately, however, even if there is a note to explain the situation, abandonment it was not done in the best way.

First, the cat has taken many dangers to find itself making a living from stray from one day to another. He could end up under a car or even the victim of another animal.

In addition, the SPCA volunteers know nothing about our four-legged friend. Vaccines, any diseases or allergies.

Cheeky's story must send a message to each of us. Having ascertained that, unfortunately, at times we can find ourselves forced to separate from our four-legged friends, we always try to do it in the best way.

Let's not leave them on the street to face the many dangers that exist. Let's take them to specialized centers, centers where surely the people in charge will be able to help us in the best way.
