We all know very well how hard, sad and difficult life is for animals living in shelters and waiting for one patient application for adoption.
Application for adoption that, unfortunately, for some of them will never arrive. And this was precisely the fate that seemed already written for the cat Tiny.
Tiny is a splendid 10-year-old feline who, after spending his entire life in a family full of love, found himself overnight living alone in a shelter.
And unfortunately, according to the volunteers of Exploits Valley SPCA, it would remain there forever. Who would ever have decided to adopt a 10-year-old cat, moreover obese and therefore at the risk of his health?
Still, no one had come to terms with Easton. Easton he is a child who could finally fulfill his life's dream: to adopt a pet.
His parents eventually decided to please him and even allowed him to choose his new friend.
He could choose a dog or a cat and, of course, he could choose the animal himself. The only constraint imposed by the parents was that the animal came from a shelter.
But seeing how Easton decided to act, there probably wouldn't have even been a need to impose this constraint.
Because the child could choose any animal, a beautiful puppy to raise and instead he chose Tiny, the cat that no one wanted to adopt.
He went to the shelter, saw this huge cat and had no more doubts. That would become her new four-legged friend.
And so Easton's family applied for adoption and that obese feline is already with his new family today.
