The protagonists of the story are an Argentine woman, Florencia Lobo, and her Tito. The lady adopts two kittens but one was a puma, the discovery dates back to two months after welcoming them in his house. He found them abandoned on the street, in the province of Tucuman, in the north of the country, and decided to take them with him. He would never have imagined, however, that the stronger of the two was not a domestic cat.

"Unfortunately, the girl didn't make it, she was too weak," he told the media. The male, on the other hand, managed to survive and was called Tito. When, about 60 days after adoption, his loving owner decided to take him to the vet for a check-up, she discovered the unimaginable.

Florencia Lobo then decided to contact the "Horco Molle" nature reserve, where they confirmed that it was not a domestic cat, but a puma jaguarundi, a widespread species from Texas to South America.
