A kitten with a love message around the neck it was abandoned near a shelter. Attached to the collar, rescuers found a note for the kitten and whoever would take care of it in the future.
Violet's story, that's her name, comes from the United States. She was left next to a cattery by her previous owner with a letter of apology and affection, and a phrase of hope.

On the letter was written: Goodbye Violet, this name suits you just fine, I wish I could keep you. Goodbye Violet, I hope your new owner is good. To him I want to say: please take care of her, I have already given her a name. Thanks! Love, Lacey.”
The kitten with a message of love was abandoned near the Effingham County Animal Shelter, in Illinois, and when the volunteers found it, it immediately won everyone's hearts.
"It hurt me a lot to read that someone loved her but couldn't keep her," said Vanessa Skavlem, the animal director of the shelter. The kitten it did not have a microchip and it was therefore impossible to contact the old owners. But they decided to put a photo of him on social media. The post was also seen by Cindy Murray, who was moved by this story.
Lightning adoption
