The word tortoiseshell does not refer to a cat's breed, but to the color of its fur. The extraordinary thing is that in 99% of cases, tortoiseshell cats are females.
This happens because the gene that gives rise to this type of color is present only in the X chromosome. In short, there is a genetic explanation.
This means that, according to studies, one in 3000 males has this particular color. And it is precisely the color of Miracle, our four-legged friend.
In a very short time its history has made the rounds of the web, fascinating researchers and many cat lovers.
Unfortunately, however, for the moment all this notoriety has not brought him luck. In fact, no one has yet applied to be able to adopt it.
The hope is that soon this beautiful and very rare four-legged friend will receive an application for adoption and start his life happy, loved and pampered by a wonderful family.
