Today we tell you the particular story of Yoda, one kitten who is demonstrating truly extraordinary strength and courage.
His story is the story of a feline who has not received huge gifts from life. But which, as often happens, has nevertheless shown a will to live and a strength to fight really out of the ordinary.
If you read our stories often, you should have realized by now that we love telling you about four-legged friends who can transform their lives.
Cats that seem to have a sad destiny ahead of them and who, instead, manage to be happy. Like the story of Apollo, the one-eyed cat who has found happiness or the Toast story, the one-nostril cat who wants to be happy.
And also the story of Yoda is the story of a kitten who has had to endure a lot of suffering.
Found in the streets of the Rowan County, in North Carolina, his condition seemed desperate.
The kitten was visibly dehydrated, undernourished and debilitated and seemed to really have the minutes numbered.
Plus he had a bad neck wound. A wound that left little doubt about the past of our four-legged friend who, almost certainly, had been the victim of mistreatment.
But luckily on his way Yoda also met human beings worthy of the name. People who, after finding her, decided to help her and entrust her to the care of experts.
And so Yoda began his rebirth at the Cabarrus Animal Hospital, where she was treated by a team of veterinarians.
The kitten was immediately sweet and affectionate, only in need of someone who wanted to take care of her.
For the moment she is still going through her path of treatment to make a full recovery. Very soon, however, it will be ready for adoption.
The hope is that this beautiful kitten is so similar to the character of Star Wars can find someone able to give her that love and happiness that she has never known.
