Today we want to tell you the particular story of Chouk, a kitten who managed to make his dream come true on Christmas day.

Chouk is a kitten to whom life has not given many gifts. Born with many health problems, his life may be shorter than that of other felines.

But despite this, our four-legged friend has met people with a heart of gold on his way and is now trying to be happy.

Because while it is true that we often tell you stories that demonstrate human cruelty, it is also true that not all human beings are like that.

There are humans who abandon, mistreat or even worse kill animals they had to take care of. As Pippin's story shows, the kitten the kitten rescued in dire conditions is now finally happy.

And then there are human beings who instead dedicate their entire lives to the protection and well-being of animals in need. Like the many people who take care of the shelters or the volunteers of all the associations on the side of our four-legged friends.

And today's story is one of those stories that makes us better understand how brave cats are and how much fortitude they have within them.

As mentioned, Chouk was born with some health problems. He has a serious heart condition which, according to veterinarians, does not allow him many years to live.

But whatever he lacks in health, Chouk makes up for with personality. He is a lively, happy and eager to live kitten.

Fortunately, volunteers from a shelter in Quebec City, in Canada, they did not give up. They contacted Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a Montreal association that deals with the rescue of animals in distress.

A volunteer drove for two and a half hours to bring Chouk to Montreal. Here the little one was visited by a specialist and began his path of treatment.

His life will most likely be shorter than that of other felines, but today Chouk is a happy kitten. On Christmas day he also met his new family and today he lives loved and pampered in a cozy home.
